This morning while reading emails, and looking at various things online, Debbie put on a CD that I had mixed a while back of prayerful and worship music.. As I heard this once again, there was that familiar "tug" at my heart. I know that tug well.. Do You?
I always say "yes" to this tug. That is because I know the One Who is doing the "tugging." He is very dear to me, and always very near to me. He is the "first love" of my life, the One Whom I have known for over 30 years. The One Whom I live for.
So when there is a tug at your heart, do you know the One Who is tugging?

A Good Thought
A dear friend of ours made a statement that I decided to borrow and repeat......There are 5 things that you cannot recover in life. 1. The stone ......after it's thrown 2. The word .......after it's said 3. The occasion .....after it's missed 4. The time......after it's gone 5. A person ......after they die.... Thanks Mike
Be Strong and Courageous
Read Joshua 1:1-9
In this passage Joshua was told, three times, "Be Strong and Courageous." How we face the things we come up against in life, this is the direction we should take. How we simply walk through day to day life, again, this is the steps to take. We should also, be strong and courageous in facing new challenges, new opportunities, new directions...
What is interesting in this, is the definition of these words, "Be Strong and Courageous." In the Hebrew, we can find it is telling us, to get a firm grip on it, to lay hold of it, to not be flabby and wavering, but to seize, and steel your ground.
In this, we should "Be Strong and Courageous" in the Pattern of God, through His Word.. The Character of God, and in His Presence. Seize His Word, Seize His Character, Seize His presence.
Looking up, not down, being willing to rise to the cause and steel your ground in His promises!
Think on this.............

A Thought from Practicing His Presence #3
As our trust in God and our awareness of His love for us increases, we are less afraid to have our dark side exposed. We are enabled to "walk in the light as He is in the light.. the blood of jesus cleanses us from all sin." (If the truth be known, God has always known the dark side of our character, has loved us all the time, and is now letting us in on His special secret.)
That secret is His grace and mercy, and especially His great love! The real question is, can we recieve it? Are we still thinking our dark side needs to be hid? Why hold on to it when it can be cleansed and washed away completely by His blood?

A Thought from Practicing His Presence #2
It was said once: "This is why God sends a fire to the earth. It's to destroy all that is impure in you. Nothing can resist the power of that fire. It consumes everything. His Wisdom burns away all the impurities in a man for one purpose: to leave him fit for divine union."
Pray this prayer: Holy Spirit, cleanse me, Holy Spirit, purify me, Holy Spirit, burn into me your passion for Jesus Christ....

A Thought from Practicing His Presence #1
"Union with God enables us to handle greater trials. God does not make us like Him just so He can look at us! He wants us to release the fragrance of Christ wherever we go."
What kind of union do you have with God? In defining your realtionship with Him, how would you describe the closeness you have with Him?
When in time of trials, through your realtionship with God, you can stand, because you do not stand alone. He said He is with you always, even until the end.
But in times of trials, that relationship, sends forth a fragrance of inner peace, refreshness, a refusual to let go, a determined strenghth to hold on. In that, others see and recievean inner challenge of stance by your witness.
But the key in this, is your "union" with God.....

"Freedom from Failure" series
Introduction
“Failure” not a good sounding word at all. Who even likes to fail? No one I am sure! But it does happen. And when we fail, the real question is, what do we do with it? Is it possible something better can come from it? The answer is a great big “YES!” God can restore from failure, He can also develop greater character from it. He can also rebuild lives through it. RESTORATION is the result of failure.
When it happens, many feel that they are not usable to the Father because of what happened. This is the area that needs a turn in understanding. God said He never changes, what changes is you! He says if we will partner with Him, allow Him to do the work He sees best and fit, then we will see restoration in our lives.
This booklet’s sole purpose is meant to encourage you the believer that you can overcome in and through Jesus Christ. That you can develop a deeper character, solid foundation in Christ. That He can and will take the rubble of our lives and do a miracle in us.
In this study, look close and see where God may be working with you. Maybe rebuilding, maybe restoring, maybe developing. But always remember that He will and can “COMPLETE” the work He has begun! (PHIL 1:3-6)
If I could put a dedication to this booklet, as to who would I say, “I dedicate this book for you and to you.” I would have to say, this booklet is dedicated to ALL in this world, who are seeking the truth of the love and mercy of God in their lives. It is for ALL those desire a deeper walk and integrity with Jesus. It is for ALL those who see how they are accountable to God, and desire to do the best they can, even when they fail.
The lessons following are intended to encourage, to build up the reader spiritually, and can transform your life! Whether it be business, or prersonal, all truths apply. Application is vital in learning, use these thoughts, and watch God do a work in your life.
